The current inotify(7) watch limit is too low. Created august 30, 2017 04:28. When i launch android studio, i get the following message:

Therefore i have the project as external volume in finder. Incorrect line endings by default webstorm/intellij/pycharm assume that the files you write should be using the line endings from the os you’re in. ./studio.sh, it opens but below error appears:

The message means that idea cannot monitor parts of your project by means of receiving notifications about changed files and have to resort to periodical polling. I’ve installed android studio’s latest/stable version 2021.2.1.14 release 121. Native file watcher executable not found.

Try upgrading to the latest stable version. Please try phpstorm 7 eap, and if you'll see the warning again please file an issue and attach the log file. Inotify requires a “watch handle” to be set for each directory it monitors.
